Ballet Prague Junior

Ballet Prague Junior is a junior chamber ensemble of the dance theatre, composed of young professional dancers at the start of their careers as well as externs and interns. Since 1999, it has maintained fully professional artistic leadership, production, and a fully mobile artistic-technical operation. Each year, the company creates two full-length premieres and performs approximately 40–50 shows in Prague and other regions. The repertoire also includes educational programs, such as How Dance Theatre is Made. The ensemble additionally participates as a guest in productions of the Prague Chamber Ballet, including For My Country (Petr Zuska), La Strada (Jiří Bubeníček), and others. Throughout its existence, the company has hosted 27 domestic and 23 international choreographers and has performed at 61 venues in Prague, in 107 Czech cities, and in 14 international locations.
